Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS

The Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS is a very useful little device when you need a no frills system to easily find your way around.

In fact the unit comes with some extras that make travelling more fun. You won’t need to load maps since they are pre-loaded into the unit for you and each area contains extra information known as POIs or Points Of Interest.  These are extra snippets of information detailing local facilities such as restaurants, gas stations and malls etc.

It’s an excellent navigational device and can easily guide you through any city streets and allows you to avoid traffic jams. For travelling in foreign countries you can enter the relevant maps by storing them in the internal memory of the C330 or on an SD card.  In addition you can add your own personal points of interest (saving them to the memory card) which is great if you are planning a holiday and want to visit some particular areas that interest you.

Using the touch screen makes it easy to control the device and its voice output, giving you precise information, means you can concentrate on driving while listening to directions.  The unit is mounted on a suction cup and as well as letting you easily view the screen it also means you can easily move it from car to car.

The Garmin StreetPilot C330 GPS is one of the most popular global positioning system navigation devices in use today since it gives you exactly what you need and of course Garmin is renowned for its high quality reliable products.

This product was well worth what I paid for it, because it was really expensive compared to every where I looked. I love it because I use microsoft word a lot. I have not had any problems with this product so if you looking to purchase at a great price this is the one you should get.

I’ve only had the nuvi 260W for a few weeks now and have tried using it twice on trips. Am disapointed that it doesn’t recognise St.Augustine, FL. or a nearby State Park. Second try was Weekiwachee Springs, Fl. No luck there either. Haven’t had time lately to thouroughly go thru the onlin info yet, so I won’t completely condem this unit at this time. Also, on a return to “HOME”, it had me taking some backwoods road in the boodocks, rather than county and state highways, which I made a u-turn and came home the well-traveled route. I will say onething tho, this unit really knows how to say “recalculating”. If there’s no improvement after I go thru the online help, its of no use and I’ll be sending it back to Amazon post haste. As for its display, mounting features, ease of use, I’ll give it a 4 1/2 out of five.

  3. Couldn’t pass up the great price on this Tom Tom. I’ve wanted a GPS for a while, but could never talk my hubby into it. I purchased this one right before our vacation to Washington DC. I knew it would come in handy, but what I didn’t expect was how much my husband liked it. It worked great and he insisted that every time we went anywhere that we use it. It made getting around the city so much easier. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but for just plain getting around in a strange city it worked great. It was also able to provide us with restaurants and other points of interest close to our hotel. Even though this one was listed as being re-furbished I couldn’t find so much as a tiny scratch on it. It looked and performed like new. I am one happy camper with this purchase.

I never ceased to be amazed with Hi-tech gadgets. I am a little surprised because living in Eastern North Carolina leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to consistent signal coverage for anything that communicates. As for MSN Direct’s traffic update, it is not available in Wilmington and Jacksonville, I am curious to see what the traffic services are in and around Chapel Hill next week.
So far my Garmin 780 has been, without exception, dead on accurate. MSN Direct services aside I am tickled pink with my Garmin 780. Now I can go where I want to go comfortably and confidently.
